A bit like Buckaroo Banzai and a bit like Beachblanket Babalon and the slightest hint of Laurence of Arabia and a healthy pinch of Blues Brothers to keep the whole crazy thing going. Kubrickesque in parts and at other times pure Michael Bay cheese. Lots of explosions, lots of kissing, killer clothes, some aliens, some dimensional travel, desserts, forsets, urban wastelands, and of course everyone's fucking beautiful. Oh, and I can't forget those three hallucinogenic singing and dancing numbers. The one that was a tribute to Keith Herring was the best. -
